Winning Is Better Than Losing
Wow. What a game! The Irish defense played like bees….Bees that are sting crazy.
The offense eliminated many of the mistakes that have plagued the team and put the defense in bad spots all season.
Maurice Crum was ridiculous. 7 tackles. 1 sack. 2 fumble recoveries. 2 interceptions. 1 touchdown return. That is disruptive with a capital “D.”
Firearms were useless against them
The Rose Bowl is a great venue for college football. The UCLA fans are some of the best in the nation.
The Notre Dame fans represented well. ND owned at least 30% of the stadium and made some serious noise. The defense consistently went onto the field imploring the Irish fans to make some noise. The fired up crowd always responded.
Everything changes now. The monkey is off our collective backs.
We have a football team that can play.
And, more importantly, we have a winning streak.
