Notre Dame’s 2008 Recruiting Class Ranks Number One.
Notre Dame finished 3-9 last year. 3-9!? How the hell did Weis pull this off:
Now that the Class of 2008 is in school and preparing for the season, Rivals.com has recalculated its final team recruiting rankings to account for prospects who did not make it to campus with the rest of their classmates.
With the loss of several key recruits, including two four-star players to professional baseball, Alabama – the nation’s No. 1 team on Signing Day – slides to No. 2. Notre Dame, which didn’t lose a single recruit, pushes up to No. 1.
Whatever you say about his game-day coaching and offensive “genius” no one can’t refute Weis’ recruiting acumen.
Here are the Rivals recruiting ranking for the Irish going back a few years. It clearly shows once again, Weis is getting the job done on the recruiting trail where others failed.

A recruiting national championship is a championship nonetheless. Mac Brown put together plenty of these until he pulled it off on the field in 2005. Think we are on are way boys.
Cannot wait until we kick off.
