Kill the Fade
I’d like to take this opportunity to say that I hate the fade pass and will always hate the fade pass. Everything needs to work perfectly in order for it to work. And even when it works, Michael Floyd’s collarbone gets busted.
The fade should only be thrown a couple times a season when your quarterback is under constant pressure. When your QB has all day, like Clausen had on Saturday, there is no reason to throw it. Let your WRs and TE run around in the endzone until one of them breaks free. The jailbreak style of offense has worked wonders for ND. Think Shark vs. UCLA a couple years ago.

Wait…we , the Irish, missed 2 field goals.. & what about that pass that hit #3 on the # on his back & bounced off to a Navy guy.. Like Murphy’s Law Irish Pub in Salzburg says:
