Chris Donald Update
Chris Donald made a trip to Notre Dame this weekend to check out the Irish. Before the trip, Tennessee had a huge lead for the fearsome linebacker who ranks as the top recruit in their state and 49th natonally. How did the trip to ND go? Irish Eyes has the scoop:
“It went great. I had a great time. My parents had a great time, and my cousin had a great time. I’m going to have a hard decision coming up. It’s going to be harder than I thought…it’s going to be real hard. They’re[ND and Tenn] even.”
“Everything about them… the coaches. the school’s not too big, the players are great. The academic part of it is great and the athletics are coming up. It’s a family atmosphere in South Bend. I can tell the town revolves around the football team.
“Met Brady Quinn, Maurice Crum, Toryan Smith they said that Notre Dame shoots straight with you and that they deliever, so you can’t beat that.
“They’re even”

Donald was supposedly a silent commit to the Irish and then made a switch to Tenn. If we are going to lose him to someone I don’t mind it being Tenn. Always liked Vol fans. Except for bigorangecountry who is so big he doesn’t need capital latters. Oh, and Chadros. Never liked that guy either.
