Let me be the first to say that I wish Benn all the luck in the world at Illinois. I’m from Chicago so I find myself secretly cheering for the Illini from time to time.
ND is not for everyone. Congrats to Illinois and Benn.
JVH, I almost cried laughing when I saw this. Nicole came over to see what was so funny and she’s now pissed at you. As if she didn’t dislike the IRT enough already… Great work.
I am amazed at how similar I am to Benn. We both have freakish athletic ability. We both dominate on the field. Our college decision came down to Illinois where our H.S. buddies went and Notre Dame where we didn’t know too many people. Eerie.
The only difference here is that I chose ND and he chose Illinois. Looking back on it I am 100% certain I made the right choice. I hope Benn is able to say the same in 15 years.
JVH-
I think freakish is probably used differently when applied to you vs Benn. Someone whispering ‘freak’ under their breath when you do something is not quite the same as being described as having freakish ability
